"If the virus doesn’t fully devour him then yes, if he’s still functioning". Nels’ eyes glowed deep red as he swiped his hand at the programs knocking them away as well as the rods. He opened his wings…

He paused at her door, leaning his head against it. This was the one trip he'd been avoiding, His aching ribs, and his sore face from his torture couldn't ache as much as his heart. He had a knot in his throat. He needed to tell her, to apologize and try to make this right.. somehow. But first he had to get himself to knock on her door. Finally, after what seemed like forever he tapped, lightly on her door. Hoping she wasn't home.

She was all bundled up on the couch, trying to rest while she waited for Voltur to return from work. The apartment was silent until she heard a light knock at the door. With a quiet sigh, she struggled to unfold the blanket she was wrapped up in, putting it over her shoulders to stay warm and waddles to the door. She didn’t know who or what to expect, but finding the white demon on the other side of the door made her heart jump in her throat, fear gripping at her chest. She stuttered and backed up, eyes wide and she began to lightly tremble.

"R-red" he said. Fuck, his voice was already cracking. "I’m not going to hurt you, I promise… I swear." He reached out, seeing the pain on her face, but he stopped himself, pulling his gloved hand back. "I-I’m here for something else.." He looked torn, beaten. "And then I’ll never bother you again…"

Her heart was pounding in her chest and ears, but she started to calm down, the panic dropping from her face. “…Cyril?”

Guys, I’m really tired and delirious, so don’t feel too disappointed if my reaction is duller than you expected

"Red.. What do you expect me to do when we find Nell?" Voltur asked sitting at the table not looking at her, his hands together as he looked at them.

She finally looked at him, coming out of her train of thought. “…Well, not killing him would be the most of what I could ask of you.”

"If I have to, you’ll hate me, won’t you?" He asked but it sounded more like a statement. His hands clasps together, his jaw shifting. Nell was a danger to people and it was HIS job to take care of such things.

”..Yes,” she answered bluntly. She paused for a moment before speaking. “So if Nel can’t be saved and someone has to put him down…I’ll do it.” She choked a little on the last part.

"It’s not that simple." He replied, watching his hands. "You know if I can capture him, I will. If I can save him, I will try. I’ve dealt with corruption before but if it comes down to the wire." Voltur paused.

"I will kill him."

She slammed her hand down on the table. “Dangit, Voltur, can’t you at least let me have my request?! It would be the last and only thing I could do fer him, and he’d deserve it after all he’s done fer me. And you don’t know the kind of disease he has.”

Voltur exploded out of chair with viciousness, the chair flying back. “Count yourself lucky I’m even consulting with you damn it!” He replied bring his fist onto the table putting a large dent and crack in it. “You think this is easy? Like I don’t know you care about him? I’ve been doing this for more life times then I’d like to count. Want to know why I’m so lonely? Shit like this.” He growled, taking his hand off the table. “Disease? He’s a mad man now.” He replied harshly. “You’re the only reason stopping me from tracking him down and making sure he can’t harm anyone else.” He growled smoke lifting from his nose as he hadn’t noticed the scales that formed on his cheek.

He was taken back for a moment turning away from her. He touched his cheek, feeling the scales fall away, the sudden burst of anger shocked himself. “I’m going.” He replied suddenly.

She shuddered, curling up a bit from his harsh words and actions. Tears were starting to form and her lower lip quivered a bit, but she was too mad to let herself fall apart, especially not in front of him. She caught the last sentence and the boiling anger she had built up had instantly washed down into cold panic, her eyes wide. “G-going?”

Yeeeees it’s happening!

I love how the Internet can take a weird idea, proclaim that it’s unassailably true, and then rapidly actualize that truth.

What is your honest opinion of the mun?
